Sailing - São Tomé

After an 8-day voyage to Sao Tomé, we were surprised by a violent storm just off the island, which caused us to drift away from the island. In the midst of this ordeal, we also lost the jib, the foremost sail of our ship. But the journey that soon ended was an unrivalled lesson about sailing, the wind and the sea...

Throughout the journey, I gained countless experiences about sailing, the forces of wind and sea and the unpredictability of nature. With a proud 5500 nautical miles on the clock, I am grateful for all the knowledge I have gained. This journey has not only been an adventure, but also a school of life that has taught me to face the challenges of the sea and to appreciate the beauty and unpredictability of nature.  Now a new journey begins...
